[Pakistan, Monday 9th May’16]: Pre-production work of Humayun Saeed’s hotly anticipated movie project Main Punjab Nahin Jaongi has officially commenced. Riding high on the success of his last year’s box office hits, Humayun has been receiving acknowledgement for his work at all major award shows held recently. The superstar was awarded the Best Actor at the ARY Film Awards, as well as the Excellence in Acting [Male] at the Hum Awards.
Ever since Humayun announced that his next film project will be a collaboration with director Nadeem Baig [Pyaare Afzal, Jawani Phir Nahin Ani, Dillagi] and ace writer Khalil-ur-Rehman [Pyaare Afzal, Sadqay Tumharay], fans could not stop gushing about it. Iman Ali was soon signed on as the lead actress opposite Humayun. Shani Arshad and Shiraz Uppal have been brought on-board as the music directors so far, while well-known cinematographer Salman Razzaq [Bol, Jinnah] has also been confirmed as a part of the crew. The shooting of the movie will begin from July 2016.
