Our Verdict
This drama proved that the audience is ready to accept new ways of life, to break away from stereotypical attitudes towards gender. Kudos to Saima Akram Chaudhry for writing such a progressive script. For trusting the audience’s intelligence and giving them what they deserve; an intelligent and brilliant script.
HUMTUM Storyline
Do opposites really attract or is it all a farce? Hum Tum – a modern, humorous and very ‘21st Century’ hate to love story between two youngsters, Neha played by the gorgeous and talented Ramsha Khan and Adam played by the dashing Ahad Raza Mir encircled just that.
The track record of Danish Nawaz as a director has been cent percent. His body of work speaks volumes. After the humongous success of Chupke Chupke last year, Nawaz is back with Hum Tum. With an interesting premise and superb performers, Hum Tum guaranteed full-on entertainment. The play was a contemporary love story between two young couples. Ramsha and Ahad who were shown as the more extrovert pair, finding an excuse to get into an argument.
On the other hand, Sarah and Junaid were cooler and calm. The chemistry between both the lead pairs was electrifying throughout.
