HUM TV morning show Jago Pakistan Jago has always been a great source of entertainment for its viewers. But that’s not it, the team of JPJ always comes up with innovative ideas to promote the country’s talent, be it aspiring actors, hosts or singers. Keeping up with its tradition of introducing new ideas, team JPJ recently initiated a singing competition, Voice of JPJ with an aim to promote the hidden singing talent of Pakistan. JPJ not only provided people a platform to showcase their talents, it also encouraged them to participate on such platforms.
Over 2000 entries were received for participation in the competition, out of which 35 were shortlisted and finally 11 contestants were selected to compete for the title. The competition started off with 11 contestants who mesmerized everyone with their melodious voices and with judges’ help and constructive criticism, the participants improved their performances with each passing day. The judges’ panel was kept different each day, comprising the best of the Pakistani music scene which included Shuja Haider, Ahmed Jahanzeb, Bushra Ansari, Mikaal Hasan and Emmu. In the finale, five contestants Anam Sheikh, Tarab, Ali Hasan, Zubair and Adeel will compete for the title which will be aired on Friday, 10th November in a special “Qawwali Edition” on Jago Pakistan Jago. The winner will get a winning prize of PKR 100,000 sponsored by Bank Alfalah. It will certainly be a life changing experience for all the participants.
