The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday adjourned hearing till November 29, on appeals of accused challenging their sentence in MQM’s leader Imran Farooq murder case.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Aamer Farooq heard the case on appeals of accused in murder case.
Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Khawaja Imtiaz adopted the stance that bank accounts were opened on the names of accused Moazam and money was transferred in it. He said he wanted to produce the details of bank accounts.
He said the money was also sent on the name of a person Muhammad Kashif, adding that Rs2.5 millions were sent in the account of accused Moazam.
The accused, he said, withdrew the money from their bank accounts and after it committed the crime abroad.The DAG continued his arguments when the court adjourned further hearing till next date.
