Islamabad to Launch New Digital Billboard Policy

Islamabad is set to revolutionize its advertising landscape with the introduction of a new digital billboard policy, finalized by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa. This policy, which will be implemented by Monday, aims to replace traditional advertising methods with modern digital displays, transforming the city’s streets into a vibrant showcase of color and motion, reminiscent of New York’s iconic Times Square.

A CDA official told that under this innovative policy, digital billboards will be installed at strategic locations across the city. These locations include streets, avenues, malls, bus stops, public transport hubs, and pedestrian bridges. The use of eco-friendly materials in digital advertising will ensure a sustainable approach to this modernization effort.

The revenue generated from digital advertising will be utilized for the upgradation, maintenance, and beautification of Islamabad. This creates a self-sustaining cycle of growth and development, benefiting the city and its residents.

Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, was briefed on the policy, which promises to enhance the city’s visual appeal and provide a new platform for businesses to reach their target audiences. By embracing digital technology, Islamabad is poised to become a hub of modern advertising, setting a benchmark for other cities to follow.

The implementation of this policy by Monday marks a significant milestone in Islamabad’s journey towards becoming a smart city. With Muhammad Ali Randhawa at the helm of this transformative initiative, Islamabad is on the path to becoming a leader in modern urban advertising, combining technology with sustainability for a brighter future.
