Karachi has recorded more than 300 mm of rain in 72 hours:-
-July 8: 128 mm (Surjani Town – PMD)
-July 9: 101.3 mm (DHA – PWP)
-July 10: 100 mm+ (DHA – PWP)
All of these rain were recorded under 12 hours. These are EXTREME figures.
We hope to see at least one year where rain proves to be blessing for people of Karachi. We witness such pathetic conditions of Karachi every year and nothing is being done.
