The owner of Karat jewellers, Late Abdul Sultan Maher Ali, was a diamond cutter himself and had done various courses in diamond jewellery from Belgium. The diamond jewellery offered by Karat was initially available at Marriott Karachi, previously known as Holiday Inn. They have now moved their flagship store to Forum Mall, to make it easily accessible to their existing as well as new customers.
