[Karachi, November 14, 2015] Touching hearts and creating magic with her exquisitely melodious voice, the star songstress of Pakistan, Komal Rizvi, enthralled music lovers of all ages, live in concert, at the official opening of Dubai Global Village, yesterday.
Belting out a string of hits, the prolific singer rocked the venue and had the audience singing along in no time. She opened the session with her two popular singles Jhoolay Lal and Tu Beh Gaya from her own album. She followed that with her mellifluous renditions of the Coke Studio versions of Daanah pe Daanah, Washmallay and Lal Meri Path and then sang two covers — Adele’s Set Fire to the Rain and Abida Parveen’s Mahi Yaar Di Gharoli – in her own rock version. Bubbling with energy, the versatile singer was particularly engaging, often indulging in a light banter with her fans.
“The crowd was superb! I absolutely loved the energy and feel extremely honoured” Komal exclaimed!
Komal Rizvi was looking stunning in her BCBG Max Azria jacket paired with Hollister Boyfriend jeans. The look was accessorized with shoes from Pedro and bracelets from Hermes.
The concert held at the DGV Pakistan Pavilion was part of the Dubai Global Village which is Dubai’s entertainment and shopping destination open from November through April hosting over 70 participating countries including Pakistan and visited by tourists from around the globe.
