Lahore Qalandars scored a thumping 66 runs win over Islamabad United, thanks to a majestic unbeaten century by Harry Brook here on Saturday night before a full house at the Gadaffi stadium.

This is the sixth victory of Lahore Qalandars in PSL 7.
In the chase of 198 runs Islamabad United managed to score only 131 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated base overs.
In pursuit of the target, almost all the batsmen of Islamabad United appeared out of color and could not stay on the crease for long. Shaheen Shah Afridi also maintained the tradition of taking wickets in his early spell and in his first spell of two overs, both openers Rehmanullah Garbaz (20) and Mubasir Khan (6) were shown the way to the pavilion.
Liam Dawson, who came in at number four, did put up some resistance but he too was caught off Zaman Khan by Harry Brooke on an individual score of 31. Captain Asif Ali and Muhammad Waseem were dismissed for 12 runs each. Azam Khan 10 while Faheem Ashraf and Merchant de Lange were out for two.
Middle order batsman Danish Aziz remained unbeaten on 30 runs.
Rashid Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Zaman Khan took two wickets each.
Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bat first and posted 197 for 6 in allotted overs . English cricketer Harry Brook scored his third century of the tournament by playing an unbeaten innings of 102 off 49 balls. Earlier, Fakhr Zaman and Riley Russo have also scored centuries in the 2022 edition.
Harry Brook’s sterling innings included 5 sixes and 10 fours. He shared a 101-run stand with Fakhr Zaman for the fourth wicket. Fakhr Zaman hit 51 off 41 balls with the help of four fours and a six. This is the opener’s sixth half-century in the HBLPSL7.
Faheem Ashraf took three wickets while Liam Dawson and Zahir Khan took one wicket each.
