Legendary Indian playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK passes away at the age of 53 due to heart failure after performing live in Kolkata.
He gave Indian music lovers many hits over the last three decades. He gave a performance at Nazrul Mancha and went to his hotel where he fell ill. He was brought to a hospital where he was declared dead.
Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK, was an Indian playback singer. He has recorded songs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese and Gujarati languages films. KK began his career by singing for advertisement jingles, and made his film debut with an A.R. Rahman soundtrack.
