An epitome of knowledge and talent, the first ever person to appear on Pakistani Television screen and the most intelligent man with inspiring words and attractive audience who was the host of the most beautiful Show of all the time “Neelam Ghar” first aired on 1974 on PTV, Tariq Aziz has left the world at the age of 84.
1936-2020: An era of ethics, knowledge, sober conduct, culture,norms,the most civilised representation of a true human,comes to an end. #TariqAziz a Legend who had groomed more than three generations of Pakistanis. Tariq Aziz was a legendary host, an intellectual powerhouse and a brand in himself. His famous “Dekhti aankhon sunty kaanon ko Tariq Aziz ka salam” and “Ye apka hua”still echoes in our ears. He is best known for his work on the PTV’s Quiz Show Neelam Ghar, first aired in 1974, later renamed is as the Tariq Aziz Show and Bazm-e-Tariq Aziz. He was member of the National Assembly of Pakistan between 1997 and 1999. Tariq Aziz was also awarded Pride of Performance Award by the President of Pakistan in 1992 for his services to the nation.
