Tea! Don’t we all love it? Some of us can’t work properly if we don’t start the day with it and some of us just can’t function if a hot cup of tea is not the first thing we drink in the morning. That’s what Lipton does. It brings the best quality tea leaves to you so that you could start your day with a high. Lipton has come up with some very catchy advertisements in the past. Remember “Lipton peene walay Zindagi mai zeada aagay?” I bet most of us do and this time as well Lipton weaves magic with its new advertisement.
Don’t let the busy-ness of life get in the way of the people who really matter. Jaagein un ke liye jo waqaye ahem hain.

The ad starts with a father-daughter duo enjoying the day. They are seen playing and laughing uncontrollably when a phone call distracts the father. He attends it and starts working on his laptop after it. The daughter comes up to him asking him to play but he says he is working. The little girl sits in a corner brooding. The mother is witnessing the situation and makes tea for the family. After sipping tea the father realizes that he shouldn’t have flaked on his daughter and the time he spends at home should be his family’s. He sees his daughter talking to her toy telling it that office work is most important, clearly imitating her father. It is then that he playfully joins the daughter again and hugs her tightly.
Our Verdict: What the Ad Teaches us?
Family is the most important thing and it is high time we realize that. In the race of earning better and getting more, most of us make our work a priority and family take the back seat which should never be the case. In today’s world, our family values are becoming weaker because our working habits are worse than ever. Lipton very tactfully highlights the same fact via its commercial.
There tag line “Jaagein Un K Liye Jo Wakai Ehem Hain” is catchy and full of meaning. We hope that everybody realizes this.
Kudos to the brand & the agency for producing brilliance.
The AD makes us realise the importance of family time. What are your thoughts?
