This year, Brandstormers across the globe are competing against each other with the mission to invent the professional salon experience of the future. Participants are encouraged to see the challenge as multi-dimensional and to run for multiple awards: Marketing, Technology and CSR. Brandstorm allows students to experiment their ideas with a real life business case on a global stage. Working in teams, the contestants create a concept, confront their ideas and work on the feasibility of their business project.
From the students’ perspective, working on innovative business projects in a test and learn mode is increasingly attractive. What’s more, Brandstorm is a genuine learning process and L’Oréal is committed to providing participants with exclusive educational resources via its E-Learning platform as well as personalized coaching from L’Oréal’s professionals and partners.
Seeking talent, L’Oréal is particularly looking for entrepreneurial and groundbreaking innovators, who question the status quo and aim to evolve and reinvent constantly.
Speaking on the initiative, Qazi Hassan, Director Human Resource, said: “At L’Oréal we take pride in setting an industry benchmark with our brand and talent strategy. Brandstorm is a key recruitment pillar through which we identify Pakistan’s top talent. The competition, in a very transparent way, enables potential talent to immerse into L’Oréal’s digital and futuristic way of work and at the same time allows us to gauge and assess how the future leaders would take on real business challenges. Personally, I am extremely proud of how this trail-blazing program with a rich history of over 25 years globally, continues to raise Pakistan’s flag high on the world stage. Our team is all set out to compete in Paris this May for the ultimate L’Oréal Brandstorm trophy and of course the prize money!”
