Lt General Nadeem Anjum has been appointed as the New Director General Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).
Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed is a graduate of King’s College London, Royal College of Defence Studies UK, Combine Arms Center USA, Asia Pacific Centre for Security Studies USA, Joint Services Command and Staff College UK, Command & Staff College Quetta and NDU Islamabad.
Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed has been posted as Corps Commander XI Corps, Peshawar. He was earlier the Director-General of the Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate, while Lt. Gen. Nadeem Anjum has been appointed as the new DG ISI of Pakistan.
The new DG ISI Lt Gen Nadeem Ahmed Anjum has diverse experience in command, staff & instructional assignments. He commanded infantry brigades in South Waziristan, Kurram Agency, Hangu and held command postings on both western and eastern borders(LoC) and served in Balochistan as well.
