Geo Entertainment has been airing its live transmission ‘Ehsaas Ramzan’ every day during this blessed month of Ramzan to encourage the values of Ehsaas – those of empathy, respect and togetherness within its viewers.
Following the same theme, Geo Entertainment airs short telefilms during these live transmissions, by the name of ‘Makafaat’. These telefilms and plays include thought-provoking storylines aimed at making the audience understand how every action results in a consequence, which might not always be favorable for you. What you sow, so shall you reap; this is exactly what Makafat communicates to its audience. These short episodes have been produced by the dynamic duo of Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi.
Geo has also released a soul-touching OST solely for this purpose. The soundtrack has been sung, written and composed by the talented Sahir Ali Bagga, while the overwhelming video has been directed by Saleem Ghanchi.

Ehsaas Ramzan is a special transmission featuring a series of programs and segments by GEO, aimed at bringing about a change in the way Ramzan is seen and practiced in our country. The transmission will be hosted by RabiaAnum and features programs and segments including ‘Bachay Mann Kay Sachay’, ‘Mera Pehla Roza’, ‘Wah Wah Subhan’, ‘Rab-e-ZidniIlma’, ‘Riyasat-e-Medina’, ‘Aalim Online’, ‘Nanhisi Khuwaish’, ‘Jazba-e-Khidmat Allah’ and ‘Mukafat’. These segments will air at different times throughout the day and will reinforce the theme of Ehsaas and its importance in the spirit of Ramzan.
The focus on ‘Ehsaas’ is what makes GEO’s transmission concept unique.
