Pakistan’s biggest and much anticipated family festival, Masala Family Festival 2018, Karachi, organized by Pakistan’s premier entertainment network, HUM Network Limited, culminated with accolades from the huge number of visitors. To provide a safe and fun day out for families, the Masala Family Festival gave families festivities such as musical performances, magic and comedy segments, live cooking demonstrations, dance and singing competitions and a chance to meet their favourite celebrity chefs. The two-day festival held at Expo Centre, Karachi, on February 10 and 11 attracted a huge number of visitors from all the hooks and crannies of the city, providing families with an opportunity to enjoy a wholesome and clean atmosphere.
The audiences were delighted by the live cooking demonstrations of all the Masala chefs at different times during the two-day festival, as it gave them a chance to interact with their favourite chefs.
The other main highlight of this year’s festival was the kids’ arena, an entertainment area for kids of all ages. The huge and beautifully set-up kids’ arena had a wide range of fun rides from jumping castles to the Ferris wheel, merry-go-round, train rides, car and pet shows to keep the young ones occupied.
Visitors also had a field day shopping as all the major FMCG companies were part of the event, selling everything from household appliances, food items, crockery and jewellery. To satiate the appetites of the visitors, the organisers had arranged food and drink stalls as well, offering family-friendly food throughout the day at various dining locations. The festival concluded on a high note with performances by Aaroh the Band and Fusion, who performed to audience requests and received cheering feedback from the eager crowd.
