The prominent religious figure & Islamic scholar, Maulana Tariq Jameel has been tested positive for Covid19.
Maulana Tariq Jameel himself confirmed the news on his official Twitter on Sunday. He mentioned he was not feeling well from the last few days and upon getting tested for he had been diagnosed with Covid19.
Maulana Tariq Jameel further mentioned that he has checked himself into the hospital upon his doctor’s advice. I request you all to do remember me in your special prayers,” he added.
The Covid19 positivity rate in Pakistan is currently at 8% and in last 24 hours, 72 deaths have been recorded which brings the total number to 8,796. Pakistan’s aggregate infections are 438,425, of which 46,692 are active cases.
