Mera Rab Waris Episode 27 in Review: The Worst is yet to come for Ayesha

One of the most amazing plays of recent times has been brought to us by the industry’s maestros, Asad Qureshi and Abdullah Kadwani, under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment. Mera Rab Waris had already been an interesting watch throughout, and it is getting more intense and engaging with every new episode now.

Starring the versatile Madiha Imam and Danish Taimoor in the lead, this family saga revolves around the struggles of Ayesha, a girl who is married into a contemporary, modern household, but prioritizes her religious values above all her relationships and observes the veil despite the surroundings she is in.

Last night’s episode was quite interesting and well-directed, with each character being given their due screen time. Since the last few episodes, we have been witnessing a smooth transition in Ayesha’s personality from a silent, compromising girl to one who has now started to speak up for herself, and against all the wrong being done to her.

However, despite this courageous change in Ayesha, she continues to be respectful and polite to everyone, and that is what makes her the most admirable.

Ayesha’s mother-in-law is making all efforts to ruin Ayesha & Haris’s happy relationship, using Ayla as her play card. Ayla is also trying to seek Haris’s attention with her cheap tactics and unfortunately, Haris is unaware of her evil intentions.

On the other hand, Nimra and Faizi have somehow settled in their married life, but it’s quite evident that Faizi still has Ayesha on his mind. Nimra seems to be oblivious to his real feelings. The pleasant change in Nimra’s personality from a modern and outspoken girl to a supportive housewife has been heartening to watch, while her efforts to stand by Ayesha against all the injustice done to her are worth much applause.

The antagonist Mazhar has finally disclosed the Faizi-Ayesha-history secret to Kinza, which he had been hiding for quite some time and Kinzi is now in a state of unrest. With a strong chance of getting trapped in Mazhar’s conspiracy, it seems like Ayesha will soon be going through the worst time of her life.

The deep and touchy dialogues, written beautifully by Jahanzeb Qamar and delivered flawlessly by the actors have always been impressive. Madiha Imam’s dialogues in every episode are so meaningful and strong, that one can’t help but ponder over them.

With the amazing direction by Asad Jabal and an ensemble cast of powerhouse performers such as Abid Ali, Danish Taimoor, Mirza Zain Baig and Seema Munaf among others, Mera Rab Waris has become the talk of town and has been garnering a very positive feedback and high ratings from the masses.
