She demands a more lavish way of life from her husband which makes him more insecure. Now add a rich man into the mix and the jealousy of Danish (Humayun Saeed) increases leaps and bounds. He doesn’t like the growing connection between his wife and this accomplished typhoon and this makes him take some questionable steps. The 5th episode of Meray Paas Tum Ho, of the show was well executed and kept us hooked. If you have been following the show you would know that Danish had taken a bribe because he wanted to get Mehwish a necklace but in this episode, he decides to return the inducement. The scenes that follow Humayun Saeed in the office ultimately leading to this decision are quite interesting.
We are curious to see how the character of Humayun Saeed makes it possible to return the payoff when his boss has clearly warned him that the consequences of this decision will be huge and his unwarranted honesty will be penalized. This situation is very relatable since in today’s life we see people being treated badly for being honest and being rewarded for following the dishonest path. The show also illuminates the grandeur of Shawar’s (Adnan Siddiqui) lifestyle and we get to know more about his roots. Danish is again portrayed as someone who can not easily socialize with people whereas his wife is good at making small talk and is successful in involving herself in the life of riches.
