Drama serial Mujhay Beta Chahiye continues to impress the audiences with its engaging storytelling and bravura performances. The latest episode of this Asim Ali directorial was a roller coaster of events and emotions. The highly appreciated drama has garnered rave reviews for tackling a very prominent social cause brilliantly.
With some major developments in the story, Jahan delivers twins; a girl and a boy. Salman is elated with the birth of his son but refuses to accept the girl as his daughter. That’s when Rubina decides to adopt her. They bring the children to their respective homes. Salman insists that Jahan’s mother should be the one to give ghutti to his son rather than his own mother, leaving his mother sad and upset. She inquires about her granddaughter but Jahan dismisses her saying that there are enough daughters in their home. She didn’t want to add to their number.
Salman’s mother is happy that Rubina has taken in Salman’s daughter who she names Jannat after her deceased daughter. She brings sweets to Salman to celebrate Jannat’s birth but Salman throws them away by saying that he wouldn’t want to eat anything that has touched her hands. He tells her to stop putting an evil eye on his happiness and pushes her away.
The next day, Salman decides to stay at home and not go to work so that he can spend time with his son. He thanks Jahan for fulfilling his desire to become a father to a son. He wants to give her a gift in return and asks her whatever she wants. Jahan asks Salman to divorce Rubina and cast her out of his life for good. That’s when Salman gets a call from his office. He is told that a fire has broken out in the warehouse and has destroyed everything that was in there.
That afternoon, Shaikh Sahab arrives at their place. He meets Jahan and Shareefa who tell him about the fire at the warehouse. He asks about the money that Salman owes him. Salman took out a loan against the mortgage papers of his house that Shaikh Sahab still has. He threatens them by saying he will sell their house and recover the amount if he doesn’t get his money back within two days.
Salman returns home and tells Jahan that everything including his car and his office has been repossessed. Jahan and Shareefa tell him that the only man who can help him is Imran and he should ask Rubina to talk to him. Rubina refuses to do that after Salman threatens to kill his daughters. Salman’s mother intervenes and says that it’s his actions that are coming back to haunt him.
