Madiha Imam is set to star in another ARY Digital drama, “Mujhe Wida Kar,” after starring in hit dramas like “Muqaddar” and “Dushman-e-Jaan.” Thanks to her outstanding performance and screen presence, Imam has amassed a large following in a short period of time. Since the summer of 2020, the cast of Mujhe Wida Kar has been dropping hints for their fans. Madiha Imam, Saboor Aly, and Muneeb Butt wowed viewers for months with everything from team portraits to project photoshoots. The wait is finally over, and ARY Digital has unveiled the project’s first teaser after months of anticipation.
Madiha Imam and Muneeb Butt are introduced as main characters in Mujhe Wida Kar in the first teaser. Imam portrays a young woman who has always fantasized about marrying a man who would sweep her off her feet. Though she marries Butt’s character, their marriage does not appear to be happy, and Butt seems to have abandoned her.
Saboor Aly In the teaser dressed as a bride also makes an appearance. If Aly plays Butt’s second wife, could the drama become yet another love triangle? Only time will tell if this is true.
Madiha Imam Takes A Dig On Her Character:
Madiha Imam will play the role of “Rida,” while Muneeb Butt will play Usman opposite her.
“Rida is a full of life 22 years old who wants to get married into a family who has settled abroad, she has always dreamt of it,” says Madiha, as she speaks about her upcoming role.
“She has a very long journey to take and that’s where the story begins. The entire story is based on her encounter with her into-laws. How a girl leaves her house to settle with someone else, and how that journey takes shape.”
“It will be about emotional abuse, and how mental health dynamics work into a family set-up. You either come out of it or succumb to it and spend your life into this vicious cycle,” says Imam.
