30 musicians from different parts of the country will be attending the Info Session in Lahore
Lahore, February 26: After conducting successful sessions across the globe, the Red Bull Music Academy is all set to host its first-ever Info Session in Pakistan. Hosted by Nick Dwyer, Academy team member,
will add some extra insights and forgotten tales from over a decade of being involved in Red Bull Music Academy’s worldwide activities. In the sprawling metropolis of Lahore, the Academy will be hosting an extended afternoon session with Karachi’s own Academy alumni Noahs Heark and Tollcrane. Thirty musicians have flown in from different parts of the country to attend the first of its kind Info Session due to take place on the 28th of February in Lahore.

The Red Bull Music Academy is recognized internationally as a leading music platform of the new generation with a world traveling series of music workshops and festivals offering an exciting platform for those who want to make a difference in today’s musical landscape. It is for the first time in Pakistan’s music history that the Red Bull Music Academy will be conducting an Info Session aimed at shedding light on what the Academy stands for and the role it plays in bringing out promising music talent from all corners of the world into the limelight.
The event is due to take place on the 28th of February 2016 in Lahore at the famous Haveli Barood Khana where the refreshing talent of musicians will assemble under one roof. The pool of thirty promising musicians are invited to be a part of this unique-music-gathering from across the country where they will get to interact, jam and collaborate in what is being termed as an exciting venture that ‘strikes a chord.’
The chosen venue inculcates the true Lahori spirit with its countless impressions of vibrancy and splendor. This is a deliberate homage to the city’s unmistakable stamp of rich culture and heritage. The landmark city being a seat of learning has always cherished its historical places such as the fort, mosques, numerous gardens and tombs. Therefore, the haveli becomes as an ideal milieu for such a gathering.
