The Spokesperson for Ministry of Power Division Tuesday said that it would ensure continuous and uninterrupted supply of electricity during Sehri, Iftar and Taraweeh across the country throughout the holy month of Ramzan.
Necessary directives have already been issued to all Distribution Companies (DISCOs) for provision of smooth power supply during the said timings, the spokesman said in a statement.
The spokesperson said that the DISCOs have also set up special teams for prompt addressal of any temporary outage. The DISCOs have also re-activated control rooms in their respective companies to monitor power situation round the clock, he said. Additional transformers and other related necessary equipments were also provided at sub-division for any emergency situation.
In case of any emergency, the consumers could register their complaints at concerned sub-division of Distribution Company or at 118 or by sending sms on 8118 for prompt addressal.
