Following the rise in Corona cases and battling the deadly virus to their best of efforts, Sindh Government extends the lockdown till April 14th 2020. Also, the federal minister Asad Umar confirmed that consensus has been built to implement the lockdown in all provinces till same date.
Regarding the decisions made in the National Command Coordination Committee, he said that it has been decided today that the current situation will be continued from 1st to 14th April. With the consultation of all the provinces it has also been decided to keep the current situation till April 14, while the supply of medicines during lockdown will continue, all assured that the implementation of the NCC decisions will be ensured.
Asad Umer also confirmed that the services and industries that make up the basic necessities will also remain open as it is very important to keep up with the food and medicine industries, and there will be no restriction on Goods Transport as well.
The Government has also decided to impose three-hour complete lockdown on Friday – The lockdown will be from 12 noon to 3pm to limit large gatherings during Friday prayers – All shops, business centres & shopping centres will also remain closed during the lockdown.
