The Pakistani Rupee experienced a minor depreciation against the US Dollar on Wednesday, losing 10 paisa in interbank trading. The Rupee closed at Rs 278.40 per US Dollar, compared to the previous day’s closing rate of Rs 278.30, as reported by the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP).
In the open market, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar stood at Rs 277.25 and Rs 280 respectively.
Meanwhile, the Euro saw a decrease of 11 paisa, closing at Rs 301.73, down from the prior day’s rate of Rs 301.84, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen remained stable at Rs 1.77. In contrast, the British Pound saw an increase of 89 paisa, trading at Rs 355.27, up from Rs 354.38 the previous day.
The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal both increased by 2 paisa, closing at Rs 75.79 and Rs 74.22, respectively.
