Excitement continues to grow as fans wait for Rockstar’s GTA 6 release. Now, a fan-made map of GTA 6 is available for free.
Since Rockstar released the first GTA 6 trailer, fans have been eager for more details. They are still waiting for a second trailer or a release date. With 2025 here, there’s no official word on when the next trailer will come. This delay has left fans searching for any news or leaks about the game.
What we do know is that GTA 6 will return to Vice City. This Miami-inspired setting first appeared in 2002’s GTA: Vice City. Rumours suggest that GTA 6 will be the biggest game in the series. Some even speculate that Liberty City will return along with other locations.

In the meantime, fans can enjoy a fan-made map of GTA 6. This map, created by Dark Space, uses GTA V as its base. It has been in development for several years.
The fan map has become popular with players on GTA role-playing servers. Dark Space says this map is the closest representation of what GTA 6 might look like.

The fan-made map is free to download, but there are risks. Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, could take it down. However, Dark Space says it will remain free for now. They also allow players to modify and improve the map, which adds more fun for GTA role-players.
If you want to try the map, you can follow instructions from a YouTube video by Dark Space. The download link is available through their Discord server.

As for the official GTA 6 release, Rockstar plans to launch it this year. It will come out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A PC release date is still not confirmed.
