PSX Summary 13th Dec 2021: The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bearish trend on Monday, losing 519.41 points, with a negative change of 1.20 percent, closing at 42,876.37 points against 43,395.78 points on the last working day.
A total of 150,389,937 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 179,172,458 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs 5.270 billion against Rs 6.730 billion the previous day.
As many as 331 companies transacted shares in the stock market, 65 of them recorded gain and 250 sustained losses whereas the share price of 16 companies remained unchanged.
The three top trading companies were WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 18,332,500 shares and price per share of Rs 1.70, Byco Petroleum with a volume of 7,301,500 and price per share of Rs 5.65 and Fatima Fert with volume of 7,002,000 and price per share of Rs 34.76.
Gatron Industries witnessed a maximum increase of Rs 34.22 per share, closing at Rs 524.99 whereas the runner up was Pak Tobacco, the share prices of which climbed up by Rs 30 to Rs 1100.
Nestle Pakistan witnessed maximum decrease of Rs 333.74 closing Rs 5356.25 followed by Bata (Pak) XD, the share price of which declined by Rs 93.38 to close at Rs 1746.62.
