PSX Summary 14th Dec 2021: The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) turned around on Tuesday and witnessed bullish trend, gaining 370.34 points, with a positive change of 0.86 percent, closing at 43,246.71 points against 42,876.37 points on the last working day.
A total of 212,350,189 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 150,389,937 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs6.770 billion against Rs5.270 billion the previous day.
As many as 323 companies transacted shares in the stock market, 237 of them recorded gain and 67 sustained losses whereas the share price of 19 companies remained unchanged.
The three top trading companies were WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 21,075,500 shares and price per share of Rs1.80, Byco Petroleum with a volume of 16,139,000 and price per share of Rs5.99 and TPL Properties with volume of 12,766,000 and price per share of Rs30.64.
Nestle Pakistan witnessed a maximum increase of Rs83.75 per share, closing at Rs5440 whereas the runner up was Sapphire Tex, the share prices of which climbed up by Rs50.18 to Rs898.97.
Gatron Ind witnessed maximum decrease of Rs39.37 closing Rs485.62 followed by Sanofi-Aventis, the share price of which declined by Rs17.07 to close at Rs558.83.
