PSX Summary 21st Oct 2021: The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) stayed bullish on Thursday, gaining 321.94 points, with a positive change of 0.71 per cent, closing at 45,821.40 points against 45,499.46 points on the last working day.
A total of 338,315,525 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 308,186,222 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs13.362 billion against Rs10.380 billion the previous day.
As many as 359 companies’ transacted shares in the stock market, 158 of them recorded gain and 185 sustained losses whereas the share price of 16 companies remained unchanged.
The three top trading companies were Bank of Punjab with a volume of 25,569,000 shares and price per share of Rs 8.91, Telecard LimitedXB with a volume of 24,332,000 and price per share of Rs17.13 and Hum Network with volume of 23,889,000 and price per share of Rs6.55.
