PSX Summary 22nd June 2021: The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday lost 25.38 points, with a negative change of 0.05 percent, closing at 47,987.14 points against 48,012.52 points on the last working day.
A total of 610,741,443 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 839,186,587 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs15.520 billion against Rs15. 878 billion the previous day.
As many as 420 companies transacted shares in the stock market, 162 of them recorded gain and 236 sustained losses whereas the share price of 22 companies remained unchanged.
The three top traded companies were Silk Bank Ltd. with a volume of 75,449,500 shares and price per share of Rs2.14, WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 48,194,000 and price per share of Rs4. and K-Electric Ltd with volume of 37,405,500 and price per share of Rs4.19.
Unilever Foods witnessed maximum increase of Rs790 per share, closing at Rs16500 whereas Bata (Pak) was runner up, share prices of which increased by Rs48.95, closing at Rs1749.95.
Pak Services recorded a maximum decrease of Rs68.26 per share, closing at Rs841.86 followed by Sapphire Tex, the share prices of which decreased by Rs31.60 per share, closing at Rs895.
