PSX Summary 23rd Nov 2021: KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bearish trend on Tuesday, losing 796.48 points, with a negative change of 1.74 percent, closing at 44,948.52 points against 45,745 points on the last working day.
A total of 264,608,741 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 261,901,155 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs9.728 billion against Rs10.940 billion the previous day.
As many as 358 companies’ transacted shares in the stock market,49 of them recorded gain and 297 sustained losses whereas the share price of 12 companies remained unchanged.
The three top trading companies were TRG Pak Ltd with a volume of 19,634,226 shares and price per share of Rs88.35, WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 17,169,000 and price per share of Rs 2.17 and Byco Petroleum with volume of 13,762,500 and price per share of Rs 6.52.
Sapphire Fiber witnessed a maximum increase of Rs59.97 per share, closing at Rs 958 whereas the runner up was Gatron Ind., the share prices of which climbed up by Rs35.47 to Rs 508.47.
Unilever Foods witnessed maximum decrease of Rs499 closing Rs 19500 followed by Nestle Pakistan, the share price of which declined by Rs139.99 to close at Rs5560.01.
