PSX loses 427 points to close at 43,935 points

PSX Summary 25th Nov 2021: The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bearish trend on Thursday, losing 427.95 points, with a negative change of 0.96 percent, closing at 43935.75 points against 44363.70 points on the last working day.

A total of 195,174,200 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 310,388,271 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs 8.394 billion against Rs12.947 billion the previous day.

As many as 328 companies’ transacted shares in the stock market, 121 of them recorded gain and 185 sustained losses whereas the share price of 22 companies remained unchanged.

The three top trading companies were TPL Properties XB with a volume of 16,327,000 shares and price per share of Rs42.73, Byco Petroleum with a volume of 12,229,000 and price per share of Rs 6.44 and Hub Power Company with volume of 9,501,666 and price per share of Rs 69.94.

Nestle Pakistan witnessed a maximum increase of Rs 41.99 per share, closing at Rs 5602 whereas the runner up was Blessed Textile XD, the share prices of which climbed up by Rs 26.80 to Rs 488.90.

Unilever Foods witnessed maximum decrease of Rs 500 closing Rs 19,000 followed by Sanofi-Aventis, the share price of which declined by Rs 48 to close at Rs 592.
