PSX Summary 27th Sept 2021: KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bearish trend on Monday, losing 255.76 points, with a negative change of 0.57 per cent, closing at 44,817.76 points against 45,073.52 points on the last working day.
A total of 301,392,634 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 369,537,354 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs11.177 billion against Rs11.778 billion the previous day.
As many as 547 companies’ transacted shares in the stock market, 143 of them recorded gain and 382 sustained losses whereas the share price of 22 companies remained unchanged.
The three top trading companies were Unity Foods Ltd with a volume of 34,951,304 shares and price per share of Rs30.80, WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 32,646,000 and price per share of Rs2.76 and Byco Petroleum with volume of 32,168,500 and price per share of Rs7.01.
Bhanero Tex witnessed a maximum increase of Rs 82.23 per share, closing at Rs 1178.73. The runner up was Colgate palmXDXB, the share prices of which climbed up by Rs 35.15 to Rs2480.
Unilever FoodsXD witnessed maximum decrease of Rs1635 per share, closing at Rs20165, followed by Rafhan MaizeXD, the share prices of which declined by Rs 149.50 per share to Rs10500.
