PSX Summary 30th June 2021: The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued with bullish trend for second consecutive day on Wednesday, gaining 218.25 points, with a positive change of 0.46 percent, closing at 47,356.02 points against 47,137.77 points on the last working day.
A total of 549,666,158 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 580,766,245 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs15.882 billion against Rs17.166 billion the previous day.
As many as 422 companies transacted shares in the stock market, 257 of them recorded gain and 138 sustained losses whereas the share price of 27 companies remained unchanged.
The three top traded companies were Silk Bank Ltd with a volume of 44,203,000 shares and price per share of Rs2.06, WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 43,244,500 and price per share of Rs3.91and TLP Corp Ltd with volume of 31,849,000 and price per share of Rs18.25.
Sapphire Fiber witnessed maximum increase of Rs54.99 per share, closing at Rs790 whereas Hinopak Motor was runner up, share prices of which increased by Rs42.70, closing at Rs612.15.
Unilever Foods recorded a maximum decrease of Rs126.25 per share, closing at Rs16373.75 followed by Gatron Ind, the share prices of which decreased by Rs25.90 per share, closing at Rs475.20.
