PSX Summary 9th Nov 2021: The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bearish trend on Tuesday, losing 715.13 points, with a negative change of 1.52 per cent, closing at 46,399.91 points against 47,115.04 points on the last working day.
A total of 434,690,600 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 364,895,469 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs14.265 billion against Rs12.785 billion the previous day.
As many as 359 companies’ transacted shares in the stock market, 48 of them recorded gain and 296 sustained losses whereas the share price of 15 companies remained unchanged.
The three top trading companies were Telecard LimitedXB with a volume of 33,505,500 shares and price per share of Rs19, Fauji Foods (R ) with a volume of 28,810,500 and price per share of Rs3.28 and F. Nat.Equities with volume of 25,355,500 and price per share of Rs11.04.
Gatron Ind witnessed a maximum increase of Rs38 per share, closing at Rs558, runner up was Atlas Honda Ltd XD, the share prices of which climbed up by Rs30.82 to Rs441.82.
The share of Nestle Pakistan XD witnessed minimum increase of 125 closing 5725 followed by Bata (Pax) XD, the share price of which decline by Rs65 to close at Rs1825.
