PSX gains 38 points to close at 47,873 points

PSX update 19th July 2021: The KSE100-index of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bullish trend on Monday, gaining 38.93 points, with a positive change of 0.08 percent, closing at 47,873.26 points against 47,834.33 points on the last working day.

A total of 320,978,957 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 348,576,046 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs11.897 billion against Rs14.590 billion the previous day.

As many as 416 companies transacted shares in the stock market, 226 of them recorded gain and 174 sustained losses whereas the share price of 16 companies remained unchanged.

The three top traded companies were Byco Petroleum with a volume of 24,344,000 shares and price per share of Rs10.64, Dandot (R ) with a volume of 23,196,500 and price per share of Rs 0.28 and Sui North Gas with volume of 18,526,302 and price per share of Rs 49.058.

Pak Services witnessed maximum increase of Rs 67 per share, closing at Rs967 whereas Colgate Palm was runner up, share prices of which increased by Rs 32.97, closing at Rs2650.47.

Wyeth Pak Ltd recorded a maximum decrease of Rs 49.37 per share, closing at Rs 2118 followed by Bata (Pak), the share prices of which decreased by Rs 28 per share, closing at Rs1652.
