Exchange rate of Pak rupee strengthened by 20 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday and closed at Rs181.81 against the previous day’s closing of Rs182.01.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs182 and Rs184 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was depreciated by 92 paisas and closed at Rs196.89 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 197.81.
The Japanese Yen lost one paisa to close at Rs1.44, whereas a decrease of 31 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs236.43 as compared to its last closing of Rs236.84.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 05 paisas to close at Rs49.50 and Rs48.48 respectively.
