Pakistan cricket team’s ace pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi and Ansha Afridi, daughter of cricket legend Shahid Afridi, tied the knot on Friday. The couple got married in an intimate nikkah ceremony while the reception is scheduled at a later date. Despite repeated requests from the families, pictures of the newlyweds from their private ceremony were leaked on social media.
Since then, many accounts impersonating the bride went viral on Twitter. Shahid has now clarified that these are fake accounts. Taking to his Instagram story, the all-rounder shared, “This is to confirm that my daughters are not on social media and accounts impersonating them are fake and should be reported, thanks.”
