Shahood since then has realized acting is more than that; a serious business and a complete profession. His acting skills have improved majorly over the passage of time and he even tested his luck with directing.

Shahood’s acting is so surreal it’s hard to keep the character separated from the actor. Fortunately for him, that entitles him to have many accolades and praise. Unfortunately; those very same acting skills lands him in quite a lot of trouble and the brunt of people’s opinion.

One such role played by Shahood for the drama ‘Bol Meri Machli’ put him at the receiving end of a lot of rotten eggs and fists. Mahjaz, portrayed by Shahood, was a poet who took advantage of beautiful, helpless girls in this drama; a negative character through and through.

I was once beaten at a girl’s college due to the negative character I played in ‘Bol Meri Machli

The poor actor had no idea visiting a renowned university would cause him so much trouble and he even tried to ‘explain’ his innocence to the self-appointed prosecutors.

“Perhaps I’m the second actor who had this ‘honor’ after Zahoor Ahmed Sahab from Khuda Ki Basti, thanks to the character we played.”

Stay tuned for more celebs and their secrets, only on Iftar Mulaqaat daily at 6pm only on Geo Kahani.
