Government of Sindh has imposed a province-wide lockdown for 15 days in order to contain the spread of COVID-19. Sindh lockdown has been announced effective from midnight March 23, 2020 for 15 days.
CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah ensured that shops dealing in medicine, vegetables and general stores will remain open during the lockdown period.
The Sindh government has also seeked the help of Pakistan Army to deal with the deadly virus.

Sindh Lockdown Some Key Pointers
- No one will be allowed to go out unnecessary.
- Every individual must carry CNIC whoever goes outside.
- Only one person will be allowed to travel in car along with driver.
- Only three people can go to hospital together (if needed).
- All Govt Offices to remain closed.
- Banks to reduce their staff.
- All Public places to remain closed.
- Places of Worship closed (Masjid, Imam Bargah, Church & Mandir)
- Kirana Stores/Grocery Shops & fuel pumps to remain open.
- Paramedical staff & Journalists are exempted.
