[Karachi: 14th June, 2016] Singer Samra Khan, releases her first Nasheed for Ramadan special ‘Allah Ke Bandon Laut Ao’, recited by Samra Khan herself while the lyrics and composition are by veteran TV & stage actor Ayaz Khan.
Samra Khan made her debut on Coke Studio, Season 8, in a duet featuring Asim Azhar, singing ‘Hina Ki Khushbu’ a rendition of the original track sung by Madam Noor Jehan. Samra has recorded several singles, television commercials and some playback songs for PTV Awards. She recently opened the concert for Adnan Sami, performing Live at Dubai World Trade Centre on 3rd June 2016, the most prestigious musical venue in Dubai, attended by around 3000 people.
On the release of Nasheed she shares “This is my first Nasheed, especially recorded for the holy month of Ramadan. It’s a simple yet very powerful composition, which is very close to my heart. I hope it reaches out to everybody who listens to it in a special way.”
