Will they win a fight for their rights against a male dominated society
GEO TV recently announced the release of new drama soap by the name of “Sila Aur Jannat”. It gravitates around a joint household system having real and step family members. Rubina, a widow, being an inhabitant of a male oriented society, ties the knot with Zaman in order to protect herself and her two daughters, Jannat and Sila. Both Jannat and Sila have contrasting personalities, Jannat being an indulgent and pragmatic girl while Sila is more outspoken and the one who resists all kinds of oppression against her.
Unfortunately, Jannat is stuck in a fraud marriage with materialistic Humayun. Sila also faces a series of misfortunes and enters in a dark tunnel of life after associating with Kashif.
Later, as it conspires, Rubina and Zaman are blessed with two more children, Sarah and Saim. With the passage of time, Zaman, who has initially entered into Rubina’s life as a rescuer, starts to unmask his greedy two faced personality. The money-grubbing Zaman, with the help of his mother starts implementing diabolic schemes against Rubina to snatch her wealth and factory away. A different kind of story develops with conspiracy theories and fallacious accusations and various injustices come in limelight as the soap progresses towards conclusion.
“SilaAur Jannat” is set to air on GEO TV starting from Starting from 29th December 2015, every Sunday to Thursday at 7:00PM.
