In the last 45 years, the suicide rate has increased by 60% worldwide. Also, it is now the third leading cause of death.

HOPE – A PSA On Suicide And Depression:
The video portrays all possible causes of depression which results in suicide such as; divorce, termination letter, and poverty. However, the most possible solution that pops up is suicide. But HOPE shows that there are numerous ways and not just one. Throw your fears and insecurities out and go for another opportunity. Search for one, there are many around you.
Remember: Suicide is not a solution to any problem. Choose to survive!
Zenofar Fathima – The Director:
Zenofar Fathima is a filmmaker, producer, and actress. She is a Dubai based personality. Zen Film Productions is a film production company, her brainchild. In early 2018, the Zen Film Productions took over the Dubai film scene with the Enigma series. Zenofar’s success is mainly based on short film stories all based around social awareness. She can be seen in various publications.
Her brainchild Zen Film Productions has recently produced a PSA video (HOPE) during the Coronavirus pandemic highlighting the issue of suicide, depression, and anxiety.
However, Zenofar says, “I hope this PSA can resonate with everyone who feels like this Coronavirus has ruined a lot of future plans- whether it is a job, not being able to communicate with family and more. But the key message I want to tell people is no matter what- find that one reason to stay alive, and always choose life”
Moreover, the video HOPE gives hope and sense that suicide is not the way. It clearly highlights the hardships faced by people during this COVID19 pandemic but remembers Suicide is not a solution to any problem. Choose to survive!
