Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) chief Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi has been released from Kot Lakhpat jail earlier today in Lahore.
Saad Rizvi will soon reach the centre of Jamia Masjid Rehmat-ul-Alameen,” Bol News quoted a TLP spokesperson mentioned.
Rizvi, who spent almost 8 months in prison after his arrest on April 12, was released after the government reached a consensus with TLP earlier this month.
Saad Hussain Rizvi is the ameer of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan, a far-right Pakistani Islamist political party. He is the son of TLP’s founder Khadim Hussain Rizvi.
Saad Hussain Rizvi joined Tehreek-e-Labbaik in 2015. He served as the Deputy Secretary-General of the party. In November 2020, after the death of his father Khadim Hussain Rizvi, Saad became the second Ameer of Tehreek-e-Labbaik.
