Chhalawa is the 3rd film by Wajahat Rauf after the box office successes ‘Karachi se Lahore’ and ‘Lahore se Aagey’. Wajahat Rauf’s curiously titled rom-com is about to hit the cinemas this year on Eid-ul-Fitr.
The cast of Chhalawa includes Mehwish Hayat, Azfar Rehman, Zara Noor Abbas, Asad Siddiqui, Aashir Wajahat, Mahmood Aslam and Adnan Shah Tipu. The notable Mehwish Hayat – acclaimed Pakistani actress, model and singer is playing the lead character of Zoya. Mehwish Hayat is an actress whose appearance on the big screen has always been larger than life. In the film she is spotted in a semi bridal-semi casual look alongside Azfar Rehman who seem to be playing the roles of star-crossed lovers.
It is also the first time that the dashing pair of Zara Noor Abbass and her real life husband Asad Siddiqui will be seen on screen acting opposite each other. The cast also gets to show off their dance moves to this track which will have you up and on your feet in no time. Additionally, the clip also shows us a glimpse of what seems like an item number by Mehwish Hayat. Chhalawa’ gives the impression of being a lighthearted family entertainer with comedy, romance and emotions all rolled into one.
