Global citizenship and residence advisory firm Henley & Partners recently released its quarterly report on the world’s most desirable passports, as per which Japan tops the list and is rated by far the most powerful passport of the world with citizens enjoying visa-free/visa-on-arrival access to 190 destinations followed by Singapore and South Korea in the second place and France and Germany in third place. This is for the second time in a row that an Asian country has topped the index as the most powerful passport in the world.
On the other hand, Afghanistan’s passport was ranked as the least powerful passport of all countries, with Somalia and Syria in the second place & Pakistan in the third place.
