Just a day after Atlas Honda announced a price hike for its bikes, Yamaha Motor Pakistan (Private) Limited notified a huge increase in the prices for its motorcycle lineup.
Effective from 3rd June 2022, the new prices of Yamaha bikes are as follows:-

The revised prices are irrespective of improvements in the current products but due to the fact that dollar is on a rise and depreciating Pakistani currency citing an increase in raw material prices and higher shipping costs.
The sale of motorbikes and three wheelers in the country has witnessed a decrease of 1.94 percent during the first seven months of financial year (2021-22) as compared to the corresponding period of last year.
During the months under review, as many as 1091,795 motorbikes and three wheelers were sold in July-January (2021-22) against the sale of 1113,435 units in July- January (2020-21), showing decline of 1.94 percent, according to the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA).
These price hikes by motorbike manufacturers in Pakistan have put two-wheelers out of the reach for the general public. Its high time, the government should intervene and ensure the stability of prices.
