Yasir Shah Grabs Fastest 200 Test Wickets
History has been made, Pakistan’s leg spinner Yasir Shah breaks 82 year old record to grab fastest 200 test wickets achieving this milestone in 33 test matches. Shah, broke this record in the third and final Test being played against New Zealand.
Yasir Shah did not merely break an 82 years old record, he smashed it by dismissing William Somerville.
He picked up his 200th wicket in just his 33rd Test. That breaks the record for the fastest to 200 wickets, so long held by Clarrie Grimmett who reached the mark in his 36th Test.
Yasir’s 14 wickets helped Pakistan draw the series 1-1 in Dubai and now he has 27 wickets in the three Tests against New Zealand.
On this big achievement Chairman PCB Mr. Ehsan Mani congratulated Yasir Shah on breaking the world record of the Fastest to 200 Test wickets.
