“I look at you and I do not see the passage of time. I see my little girl playing dress up. You are now grown up, but you will always be my little girl. I may not be able to carry you in my arms anymore, but I will always carry you in my heart. – From a Mother to a Daughter”
Zarmisha Dar latest shoot of her collection “From A Mother To A Daughter” was the talk of the town. The collection brought together the relationship of a mother and a daughter. The collection was luxurious yet simple combined with sophistication and sensual style.
Abdullah Haris brought the concept to life with his photography while Amna Babar gracefully carries the designer’s creations and brings the theme to life with just the right looks. Yet attention does not detract from the clothes; Dar brought forward a full range of cuts and silhouettes in striking maroon and gold. Each piece is impressive in its own way – floral needlework, hints of gota, revel cuts and so much more!
Zarmisha Dar is a graduate of the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design. After graduation she took no time to launch her line ‘Zarmisha Dar’ which quickly became a buzz not within Pakistan but internationally as well. Driven by an innate passion for individual style she has evolved into a lifestyle collection designer.
