Zubab Rana’s name has become synonymous with amazing performances, and attention-grabbing onscreen presence. Right from her very first drama serial NaseebonJali that aired on Hum TV, Rana has managed to solidify her standing in the industry as a beauty with talent who can take on any role that comes her way.
She has built a repertoire for herself for taking the path less traveled. A responsible actor who has set a certain trajectory for her career, Rana has established a huge fan following over recent years.
Currently, Rana is gracing our screens in the drama serial Fitrat. You would think she would want to take a step back and bask in the glory of her success, but Rana is one of those hungry actors who are always on the lookout for a powerful story, that’s waiting to be told. And Fitrat is one such opportunity where she gets to shine and put her acting prowess on display. ‘Fitrat’ shows us how evil intentions, taking shortcuts in life can destroy you, and all your relationship.
Born on 3 June 1998, the young actress started her career with Naseebo Jali in 2017 and received a nomination for the Best Soap Actress at Hum Awards right with her debut role. This doesn’t only speak of the actress’s mettle as a performer, but it also helped her make her mark on the small screen in a short period of time. She then appeared in Mere Khudaya and Bandish, and again received a nomination for the former as the Best Emerging Talent at the Lux Style Awards.
Starring as Rafia, Rana has managed to add a lot of honesty to her character. She’s beautiful, sensible, and compassionate and deserves more than what she gets. She knows her efforts, and hard work won’t be appreciated and acknowledges but she does them anyway because it is the right thing to do. Rana’s face crumples up when Rafia is made to feel inferior by her own family. A sense of sadness and helplessness appears on her countenance when her family makes her feel like she’s unimportant. And even then, she does what is needed. All she wants is for her mother, and sister to be happy, and safe, and that’s what she tries to do every day.
For now, we can’t wait to see what would happen next in her story.
Fitrat airs every Monday to Friday at 9 Pm on Geo.
